How I landed my first design job 👀
When I was just starting out, I didn’t have any experience with Adobe… I was building my portfolio and creating work but when I started looking at design roles, I kept seeing the same thing on job listings - experience with Adobe Creative Cloud ☁️
It makes sense - it’s the industry standard and it’s what most studios and in-house teams use every day! So I decided to properly learn Adobe Creative Cloud and start building my projects using the same tools used in creative environments.
What really helped was the amount of learning support available - from built-in tutorials to guided resources and live sessions, there was always something to help me improve my skills and understand how the tools work in a professional workflow! 👩💻
Once I added Adobe to my CV, everything changed!!
I felt so much more confident going into interviews because I knew my skills matched what employers were looking for! I could talk through my process clearly, answer questions with confidence and demonstrate that I understood how creative teams work. And for the first time… I actually started hearing back from my applications! 🥳
Not long after, I landed my first full-time design role at just 20! So, If you’re looking to begin your design career and build job-ready skills, Adobe Creative Cloud is a great place to start 👀
