SERVINGS: 2
PREP TIME: 2 minutes
COOK TIME: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 package of Beyond Beef
1 bag of frozen shoestring fries
1 ½ tsp smoked paprika
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 ½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
1 white onion, diced
⅓ cup dairy-free cheese shreds
1 fresh jalapenõ, sliced
½ cup pickle chips (½ diced)
Parsley, to garnish
Burger Sauce
⅓ cup plant-based mayo
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp ketchup
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp chopped pickles
PREPARATION:
1. Preheat your griddle or flattop grill to medium-high heat and add frozen shoestring fries, about ⅔ of the diced, onions, and Beyond Beef across the grill. Season the beef with 1 tsp each of smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder, along with ¼ tsp black pepper. Season fries with remaining ½ tsp smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and ¼ tsp black pepper.
2. Flip all ingredients regularly. Remove grilled onions and Beyond Beef once golden brown.
3. Mix together a Burger Sauce by combining plant-based mayo, mustard, ketchup, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, apple cider vinegar, and chopped pickles in a small mixing bowl. Once thoroughly combined set aside.
4. Shortly before fries are fully cooked, add dairy-free shredded cheese with a little bit of water (about 1-2 Tbs) and cover for 1 minute to melt over the fries.
5. Assemble your plate, by adding the cheesy fries as the base, topped with Beyond Beef, grilled onions, Burger Sauce, diced pickles, fresh jalapenos, remaining diced onion, dill pickled chips, and parsley to garnish.
